Since 2008 Car Free Day has been creating community focused public spaces in the West End, Commercial Drive, Main Street and Kitsilano.

WE Arts hosts pop-up Art Jams at events such as the West End's Car Free Day. Join us for music, art and chalk drawings.
ART IN THE CITY
May 4-6, 2018
The largest fine art market in downtown has been held for years at the West End Community Centre. Many amazing artists come from all over the city for this three three day event.
SUMMER SOUNDS

Summer Sounds is an outdoor concert at the Historic Haywood Bandstand at Alexandra Park on Beach Avenue. It is a community gathering aimed at bringing together musicians, artists and neighbours to enjoy music in the park, as has been the tradition for over 100 years.
LUMIERE
November
Back again, in November this year, Lumiere lights up the dark winter nights for neighbours to come together and enjoy playing with interactive lights technology, admire beautiful light installations, and enjoy one of a kind performances from English Bay to Burrard Street.
PRIDE
May 4-6, 2018
Pride month culminates in a Pride Week that ends with the epic Pride Parade. The West End is showered in rainbow colors, music and festivities.
HONDA CELEB-RATION OF LIGHT

Every summer Vancouverites gather on the shores of English Bay to witness the unparalleled Honda Celebration of Light international fireworks competition.
